For Ages 6 – 9.  Creating your own favorite memories!  Children will get to experience edible crafts, art projects, and music from this enjoyable movie.  Plus, at the end of the week they will get to watch the movie!

Adventure-Camp---pdf[1]Danville Environmental History and Adventure Camp
July 7—11, 2014

Adventure Leader:  Van Wagner (Van teaches Earth and Environmental Science at Lewisburg High School)

Adventurer Campers are children who will be going into grades 3, 4, or 5 in Fall 2014.  Camp is limited to 15 Adventurers. 

This camp experience will involve outdoor activities.  Participants will have hands-on learning experiences in streams, forests, and grasslands.

On the final day, we will meet off-site and will hike around the Robbins Trail system at Hess Field. We’ll end the day with a picnic lunch which each camper will need to bring to camp on the last day.



Adventure Camp Topics will include: 

Pennsylvania geology
Stream analysis and study
Wildlife study
Local history 


Unfortunately due to field location limitations, this camp will require full personal mobility.

$35(Member); $40(All Others)  Please note: a child does not have his/her slot saved until the camp fee is paid.
