The nation’s top water safety and training organizations are joining forces to present The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ (WLSL), Thursday, June 22, 2017, to build awareness about the vital importance of teaching children to swim to help prevent drowning. On June 22, waterparks, pools and other aquatic facilities around the globe will host local WLSL lessons simultaneously at 10am Eastern Standard Time in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record.   The DACC will again be a host site!

The DACC is very proud to have been a host facility in setting a new Guinness World Record for the World’s Largest Swim Lesson. On Jun 24, 2016, our swimmers were part of the 40,298 participants at 641 locations in 24 countries! All over the world, it is important to know how to swim!!!
